This is a lovely cozy but airy furnished cottage on an a large gated estate containing 4 homes, surrounded by absolutely stunning countryside. On the the ground floor is an open plan living area and kitchen with high beamed ceilings to give the feeling of spaciousness. There is a wood burning stove for cooler winter evenings. Upstairs is an open mezzanine where there is a large double bedroom leading onto another single bedroom (which also has access from outside) as well as a shared bathroom.
The house has two terraces and it’s own pool and the garden is fenced.

Located in the magnificent Alcornales Park, the views from the property offer 360 vistas of glorious countryside and the cork oak forests that stretch all the way to Gibraltar, on a clear day you might be lucky to see the coast of Africa. The cottage is situated 2 km above the white village of Jimena de la Frontera and 40 km from Gibraltar and the Costa del Sol on the Mediterranean.The subtropical gardens offer exotic plants and colours with many special places to sit and relax, it is ideal to get away from it all, amidst a spectacular natural setting. The estate grounds cover an approximate 3.5 acre area of which about 2 acres are terraced lawns, full of tropical plants and trees with three swimming pools, one for each property. The remainder is woodland and part of the wild country of National Park, ideal for dog walks. It is available for medium to long term rental now. 650euros per month plus utilities.
